Somehow I have this feeling that I really butchered this hand, although I had some reasoning for the way I played it. Villain is 24/17 with Fold to 3Bet of 43%, fold to flop CB of 60% and WtSD of 14% in 350 hands.

I 3bet for value pf and I imagine he calls with majority of his range, since he doesn't seem to fold a lot pf. On the flop I decided for a smaller bet, because I think he will fold a lot of his hands, even hands like AT. The button is rather tight so I expect him to play fit&fold on this kind of boards. Anyhow would like to know what you think of this hand overall. Thanks for any kind of input.

IMO it's mistake to 3bet pre vs UTG. His pfr is only 17, given that he has tight UTG range, so he is not loose player. If he folds 43% to 3bets overall it doesn't mean he is folding the same % in UTG. I think you will just fold worse hands and get called by better ones. Call>3bet.

As played, when BU cold calls, you have very easy x/f on this board. BU range almost always will be TT-QQ/AK and UTG most of the time hits this board too.
If BU wouldn't join the pot and UTG would call your 3bet, I think you should x behind this flop , because it hits UTG range very strongly.

Look at CO stats. No way we can just call here just get squeezed way too often. Definitely like the 3bet pre.

Agree with you that flop is pretty awful for us, TT JJ and AJ all are possible calls. Heads Up I still don't mind cbetting flop w gutshot + 2 overs as long as we dont go crazy w 1pair, but multiway I think just check and fold to medium or bigger bet.

As played giving up is good.
