OTF w GS and one over IMO I have enough equity to call.

OTT, when he x , he is giving up or he has some showdown value, which which almost always is better than my hand. So, because of that, I decided to turn my hand into a bluff.

OTR I put him on something like this range T9/T8/weak Jx/JT/QJ/KJ/AJ/TT/As8x/Ks8x. IMO he should fold to my bet Tx/8x/weak Jx,/JT/ maybe QJ, because it looks like that he doesn't go to showdown a lot.

Maybe I should bet bigger OTR.

What do you think? Am I just spewing here?

I might just 3bet pre as he's stealing super wide and folding a ton, Q8o is strong enough to call but somewhat hard to play and I rather just take the preflop auto profit he's giving us with that fold 2 3bet %

Q8 definitely a good hand to float this flop, he's not super barrel happy by the looks of it so we can take it down OTT a fair amount.

However on the 8 turn I actually think we pick up pretty good showdown value while also not getting any9x to fold without having to fire river also. I guess betting is ok, but I think bet check bet is usually a pretty strong line from him, so I don't mind checking back turn and folding river, while winning river when he just gives up. It's a lot cheaper. The turn card is really good for our range, but for Q8 I think this is a bad thing since now he is not going to feel like he can 3 barrel QQ+/AJ/KJ/QJ/JT for value and will probably check/call those twice. So it puts quite a lot of strong hands in his x/c range that probably won't x/f river - though w 17 wtsd, maybe he does.

This means that bluffing river is not going to be as profitable as it might feel like, however we're probably never winning at SD with 8x anyway so I guess betting is preferable to check.

With the 17 wtsd its definitely not spew though, he just folds so much that its gonna be the best option by quite a bit. It may be a sample size issue though, like how much did his wtsd go up by after this hand?
