I wouldn't call AJ tpnk here, its a decent kicker but vs this line it is a bluffcatcher and the guy is probably almost never bluffing.

3 betting preflop here might be a mistake, especially vs a 3.5x raise. He looks kinda fishy but at the same time is not raising too often preflop, and 33 hands he might still be decent reg, who has just picked up a lot of pocket pairs etc. good cold calling hands and doesn't actually have 42 vpip. 33 hands is nothing, and stats for 200 hands could look very different to this.

I dont think its easy fold on flop. I think folding flop is too tight. On the turn I think you can let it go. If he did have some kind of hand that donks flop to see where he's at, or to try and take the pot down there, I don't think he follows up on the turn for another almost pot size bet. if you do call turn though, river has to be a fold, don't see how someone can just bet bet bet air here, would assume he mostly has 2p or sets here, AQ is kinda weird to take this line with.

definately agree with you, I was also thinking about calling on the flop to decide later on the turn in case he had checked behind.
