Dude, I've exact the same problem.....whatever I do, I can't fix it... and I've the feeling it's something very simple.

Yeah, can somebody help us?

Thanks but I can't see any answer concerning Vista, only XP

I've been playing without any sorts of stats for months now (using a company computer I wasn't administrator of) and earned the full licence of elephant.
Was really looking forward to enjoy it again on my new personnal computer.

Don't know what's more frustrating, not to be able to use it or not getting any clear answer (any answer at all).

Seems like I'll add PokerTracker or Hold'emManager to my list to Santa and forget about it. Real shame.

Well generally that error means postgreSQL isnt running or installed. So please check if it was correctly installed and if thats not the case please try installing it manually.

you're right,
a friend of mine successfully installed Postgres (manually?) using the second download available (pg installer) on the Postgres site,
I still had a problem with elephant though, decided to try PT out, it does work fine! Happy Happy! Joy Joy! Fell in love of that great programm instantly, looks like it's worth every penny...

I will be able to post hand samples, stats etc...very soon
