Bet-fold river. Everything up to a set of kings is a bluff catcher. In your range, you will have plenty of better hands to bluff catch with. (Just K7 and K8 are 32 such combos. Exactly how many you have depends on your preflop strategy and your check-raising range on the flop.) Note that it is clear that you aren't on a busted draw (they all would have got there). Also, most fish aren't smart enough to turn a pair or something into a river raise bluff on occasion on this board.

If you check, he isn't going to bet anything for value that you beat, but he will probably call. Check-calling sucks unless he bets automatically when you check. Note too that he can't have any busted draws either (what would they be?).

Thus bet-folding and check-calling have the same cost when you lose, but bet-folding often gains an extra bet. True, he might be bluffing, but in the long run you will catch these bluffs (bet-call) with better bluff-catchers (say 33 in the pocket), making him indifferent to bluffing. Calling with K6 and anything better means you call with too much.

you have to call a lot, tho. if you bet/fold most Kx hands you are very vulnerable to being exploited.

i like a check/call or a bet/call on the river with this hand.
i could see bet/folding with a hand like K8, which blocks more combos of his likely bluffing hands

Another thing, you have 2k+ hands on this dude. By now you should know if he likes to bluff on scare cards. He is a loose somewhat aggro fish. Some of them religiously bluff when a scare card hits. But this is a raise, so it takes a bit more than one or two observations of a donk on a scare card to call.

Aggression factor is a good stat to include when you post hands.

You aren't as exploitable as you might think. He is raising on the river, investigating 2 to win 8. The calling frequency with bluff catchers should be based on this, not on the pot odds, 10:1, to achieve a Nash equilibrium. If you call based on pot odds, you will be exploitable. So folding 20% of the bluff catchers is reasonable (corresponding to 4:1 = 8:2). (You'll also call/reraise 250 000% of the time when you have a Q, so 20% of the bluff catchers + all Q makes it a bad proposition for him to bluff. He can exploit that and not bluff at all.)

It all depends on ranges. In my case, K6 is definitely close to the bottom of my range. I might play AJ this way too. But K + unsuited rag isn't my favorite combo when getting 5:1 preflop. I'm definitely ditching K4, K3, and K2. Whether I play K6 preflop depends on the opponents, mostly the CO.

i guess we mainly disagree about preflop play, i'd definitely call all Kx no matter what.
looking at the combos more precisely, based on how i'd play up to the river, i can bet/fold all combos of K8 and roughly half the combos of K7, and have to call all other Kx down to K2. so if i wanted to overfold slightly (probably a good idea as an exploit) K6 could become a fold as well
