Hello,
Final 2 tables of 6max tournament final 5 paid. The BB is a huge fish playing 40/3 over 300 hands, doesnt fold much, I have also seen him turning his medium SD hand into a bluff by donking on scare card river 2way.
Question is on turn, we definitely want to value bet our trips but once the passive fish does check/raise it is very tricky to determine the best line. Would you rather call or raise (all-in?) and why? I think calling might be better since if he is once again making a play against us we get to keep his bluffs or weaker SD hands and we might get another street out of him. I think this option is good since there aren't many draws on this board. Other option is raising back given that mostly when fishes do raise at some point they normally are ready to get it in anyway. I didnt consider folding at all, but maybe some of you fold these spots?
