AKs turn flush

I don't like this river sizing because he's not gonna call this with A high, and we could get him to call more with 8x+. 1/2 pot doesnt really make sense when he have bluffcatcher that is probably gonna call or fold same range vs 1/2 pot, 2/3 pot or 3/4 pot.

he is so tight, why do you think he will have so weak hands in preflop cold call range, and that he will call even A high vs my condensed range on river especially vs larger size? I agree that size should be larger, since likely he calls same range

If he is so tight I dont like giving him the initiative. He is going to bet his strong hands and check back his weaker hands. When we hit we are losing value.

Why do you think that he is going to check his weaker hands and bet better? Why would I turn hand into bluff in that case, and what do I hope to fold in his range?

His preflop stats suggests that he is tight player.
Tight players don't like to get money in the pot with uncertain hands. That's why he would check back his worse hands. If you cbet on the flop you can get him to fold all his missed small pairs, missed connectors and AT-AQ type hands. That's a lot, check yourself.
On top of that, versus pocket pairs you have over 50% to win with your flushdraw and 2 overcards.

I don't think he will call A high, that's the point. He is not calling A high for 20bb, so we may as well bet bigger on river to get value from his made hands.

If he's tight its even more reason to bet bigger on river since he will have less 89s type hands and more overpairs.
