Hello!

$0.01/$0.02 No Limit Holdem
PokerStars
5 Players
Hand Conversion Powered by weaktight.com

Stacks:
HERO (UTG) ($2.75) 138bb
CO ($0.37) 19bb
BTN ($1.94) 97bb
SB ($1.98) 99bb
BB ($2.06) 103bb

Pre-Flop: ($0.03, 5 players) HERO is UTG K♦ J♠
HERO raises to $0.06, 3 folds, BB calls $0.04

Flop: 7♠ 3♠ J♦ ($0.13, 2 players)
BB bets $0.04, HERO raises to $0.14, BB calls $0.10

Turn: 9♣ ($0.41, 2 players)
BB bets $0.10, HERO raises to $0.30, BB calls $0.20

River: 6♣ ($1.01, 2 players)
BB bets $0.04, HERO?

Villain: 31/16, donk: 100(2), AF: 5.5, 59h

PRE
Standard.

FLOP
Raising for value vs draws and smaller pairs, worse Jx. Altough, he might donk bigger with TP.

TURN
Still profitable to raise, nothing much changes. Obv. would fold vs 3bet.

RIVER
With such sizing I doubt he's got even Jx. So, I should raise for value again.
Maybe something like 0.4$ Or should I take the safe way out ('check' back)?

When villain takes a line like this, I think it's safe to assume he's of the 'just randomly clicking buttons' kind. I've seen them do it with aces, flopped straights and other nuts hands, a lot of the time villain will just have air, or some 2nd pair here. IMO a small raise is +EV here, but we're pretty much just gambling.

I have seen this move a lot. It can be strong but most of the time it's a weak hand which villain tries to get to showdown by min betting.
The problem is thast if we raise is villain inclined tyo call with that weak of a hand. If answer is yes, then make a raise.

Raise bigger for value on flop and turn, small bet or raise on river and fold to jam.
