Hi Guys,

Bit of background on the hand below, I'm 4 hands in and aggressively played all 4 and not gone to a showdown although it was the right thing to do by the starting hands chart it does mean my opponents now think I'm some uber loose fish.
In one of the hands previous I re raised the guy sitting to my right when he raised from the button and I bet the flop which he then folded. I'm now thinking he is getting annoyed and wants to get involved with me.
I think my correct line here should have been to just call the re raise and then get it in on the flop when the Q hits rather than pre flop as I'm only going to be against aces, kings or AK luckily in this case he had AK.
What do you think?

Cheers
Sam

Mmmm, i do not agree with your logic. If you will face only strongerr hands, why then 3bet?
Next thing is: call pre and when Q hits- push. How many times Q will hit?

I'm thinking that QQ is too strong to throw away pre flop as if it does hit I'm going to get all of his stack most of the time.
What would you suggest as the ideal line here?
Thanks for your help

You will get calls from a lot worse hands preflop so I think 3bet is fine. But if you are sure he is 4beting only AK, KK+ then fold to his 4bet.

If you were very aggessive in few hands before than maybe he will play back with wider range but at NL2 it doesn't have to be the case. People think less than we expect them to do. Calling 3bets with any pair just to hit our out and make a set is burning money. You won't hit often enough and if you hit you won't be paid often enough. With 7 people at the table and with given positions (CO vs BU) you can play for stacks imo.
