MarcoPoolo is a loose fish who i have little FE against preflop and flop. J.Firpo is a regular who I used to respect. He respects me as well.

Pre-flop:
(1 folds), MarcoPoolo calls $1, (1 folds), HERO calls $.50, J.Firpo checks

Flop: ($3) 8♥ 5♥ T♣ (3 Players)
HERO bets $3, J.Firpo calls $3, MarcoPoolo calls $3

Turn: ($12) K♥ (3 Players)
HERO bets $9, J.Firpo raises to $22.50, (1 folds), HERO calls $13.50

HERO bets $31, J.Firpo calls $31

Question is: your line if he minraises river? swiss wants me to bet and fold to any raise.

Hm, depends on how loose and fishy the guy is. If he kinda brain dead I go broke on the turn, if he kinda reasonable I call the turn and blockbet/fold the river or c/c the river. nh I'd say.

best regards,

hmm you have the flush AND the straight so call the minraise ldo

seiously though I prefer a check/call, because his range is superpolarized, and you only beat a bluff (Ahx) or you are crushed by a higher flush

congrats on the save

edit: if river is an ace I like the blockbet though

hey princess, my line was bet/fold because this way we get value from 2p or set type hands (although most of these he raises preflop) as well as pair+Ah combos wanting to make a hero call. check/call's fine too, but we miss value against these types of hands.

the thing is, I don't know if he has a flopped set/2-pair ever given his line. kings up might be possible but unlikely tbh

i think after he raises the turn his range is polarised to these stronger types of hands.

keep in mind that flush over flush is pretty rare too ;). i think about as rare as kings up.
