I would only call this. I only raise here, if aint gonna fold if he shoves. So i like call, and see what he does on the turn, and if a diamond cames, i wanna see how he reacts

I agree with this, but if we do raise we have to fold if he shoves. We have top pair weak kicker in a heads up pot in position. Time to apply the principles of WA/WB and potcontrol :)!

i disagree, i think if you raise to 500, your bet seems to imply youre gonna fold to a push. So I would call the push here, because i think hell push a lot of bluffs and flushdraws, and often youre not even that far behind, villain will often also not have a kicker. Easy call for me.
Of course I agree on that flatting the raise would be better.
I would raise this pre flop but the call is good because villain doesnt have a clue where you are.
As played, I think you have to play on the basis that villain is not putting you on an ace. What then is his range for calling and not raising in the SB pre flop?
Either he is slow playing a monster like AA. AK, but more likely he has hit middle pair or a draw.
He is giving your raise no credit because he doesnt think you have an ace in my opinion.
