Villain 41/22/0.6 so looks very passive. After he opens from MP and 4bet shove me, can I fold AKs pre? For me it is clear fold even at nl2, when villain 4bet shoves especially passive one, I expect to see KK, AA.

You can fold after his 4bet if he is so nitty with 3bet and 4bets preflop.

it sucks but i'd probably play the same as you here. you could argue that there is more dead money in the pot with the caller but it's so marginal. the EV of calling it off is probably very close to 0, plus or minus some so hard to really make a mistake in this spot. it just FEELS a bit worse when you get it in and face the obvious KK+

nah, I would call a shove vs good known fish and especially shortstacker but vs unknown or nitty good player no way. Ofc it depends what spot we face up. sb vs bb would call probably.

For me it is clear call. You can expect everything from fishes. He might shove hand like 66 (or T9s) here and call AA. :f_drink:

Hi,

How many hands do you have on him? If there's not many hands, I can't keep this statistic reliable.

Pre-flop - Well, you could call or fold. If you are able to withstand the possible variance that occurs due to calling, it's ok. Folding is not a sin, though.

Atm my br is tiny so I really cannot stand big variance so I'm trying to avoid these tough spots and fold AK. Once I will have 25BI+ I can easily start calling AK shoves. Thank you guys for your responses.
