Poker Stars, $0.10/$0.25 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

Hero (SB): $47.48 (189.9 bb)
BB: $47.23 (188.9 bb)
UTG: $52.02 (208.1 bb)
MP: $35.20 (140.8 bb) - villain is basically unknown
CO: $16.03 (64.1 bb)
BTN: $30.11 (120.4 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K K
UTG folds, MP raises to $0.75, 2 folds, Hero raises to $2.25, BB folds, MP calls $1.50

Flop: ($4.75) T Q 8 (2 players)
Hero bets $3.40, MP calls $3.40

Turn: ($11.55) 6 (2 players)
Hero bets $6.71, MP calls $6.71

River: ($24.97) Q (2 players)
Hero checks, MP bets $22.84 and is all-in, Hero folds

Is this ever a call? Can't find any hands that would bluff here.

AQ, QQ, TT. Pretty ugly.

Nice fold, i think he had 88. So anyway, good fold!

88 is also possible.

AQ makes the most sense by far. bluffs could be KJ, maybe AJ, Axs but since we can't tell how wide his preflop range actually is i guess it's a fairly easy fold to me as well

Easy fold there. Any Qx beats you, if he (badly) slowplayed a set, it now got promoted to a full house and no bluff would shove there.

Mostly a fold imo not so many bluffs there. I dont like your bet size, on the flop is bigger and on the turn is smaller and this seems like that you are afraid and he can shove wider on the river but again its a fold.

:f_biggrin: Why would you ever want to look strong on the turn, when you are holding KK-AA, practically shouting to opponent what you have.
