not really sure what you want to know with this hand. Both hero and villain played it badly imo. IF hero wants to do anything it's clearly a check/raise on the river.

Hero: don't limp pre, x/raise river. Played terrible - either he's scared of 1 combo of Jh9h which is stupid, or he doesn't realise he has the practical nuts which is also stupid.

Villain: raise bigger pre, bomb flop, bomb turn, jam river. Played really terribly.

My first instinct was simply delete this hand from my database, and you know move town and start a new life.
In the hand I think I was watch TV , multi table, auto pilot and thought I was 6 high flush

At first I thought it was some variant of Fixed Limit Holdem from the betsizes.

Then I saw the flatcall with straight flush.:f_o:

Oh well, never mind, shit happens. But don't watch TV while playing, and don't play 57bb deep, auto top up to 100, so that if you get straight flush vs nut flush, you can win 100bb from villain.:f_drink:

Getting distracted is aufull while playing but still happens. Limp/calling pre is not something I like, even in FR.

Of course, the whole hand is terribly played, as you said. But, as played preflop and flop, I think we should lead or at least check/raise the turn. As played, I don't understand the check on the river with the nuts. When we do check, I don't understand why we just called?

But I have to admitt that the hand is hilarious.

As played, c/r all in on the turn. You have a strong hand which is very vulnerable. As for the river, mistakes happens don't beat yourself up and move on

That's true, I didn't think OP was hero in this hand ♦ I thought "hero known fish" meant he was reviewing his database from some other random player and posted a hand as hero or something.

I've had two SF withing one hour. The first one I read for a small flush and just called. The second one, an hour later at another table versus the same opponent, I did notice the SF. Only that he had me beat with a higher SF.
