so action went like: i check, BB bet 8$, fish called, and i folded. tho, i wasnt sure abt this either, fish has so much of anything rly and reg has a lot of OP or good fd, BUT if i make it sth like 20$, i doubt ppl shove here ever with just fd in his spot, (but i guess good Qx w no fd shoves - so i get to separate his range nicely and on blank turns can get him to fold his better fd i think - (ofc if fish calls, i am just done) think 20$ risk for the 50$ out there was worth a try still?
The problem is that the pot is 4-way 3bet pot and so huge, that if anyone really has anything they're gonna go with it I think. 8$ bet from the reg to 34$ pot is really really small already, there isn't room to bluff in this spot I think. Or if you meant you should donk 20$, it might work, but it's a 4way pot so don't be surprised if you find someone with a hand to call you with or if the reg won't fold his OP in this spot
And naturally you won't have any fold-equity OTT if someone calls your flop donk, you've 20$ behind when the pot is +75$ or so.

lets say i have A987ds w 9high fd and its just SBvBB 3bet pot oop. Do u have some experiences of how they react vs x/minr here w OP? (from my exp abt half of regs bet their OP and other half just check) To put it into perspective: how would u prefer to play ur AQxx on this board SBvBB VS3betoop? and why ; also: lets say i had nutfd of sth like AJT9 w AJss, how do u prefer to play the hand THEN? (A, here in actual hand, B, in SBvBB 3bet pot 2way)
In BB vs SB 100bb deep the SPR will be much higher, and you've more room to make moves on boards like these. I think the pot will be 18bb, and you've 91bb behind, SPR is still 5. If you min-raise me into that board in such situation, my response will depend on a) what reads I have from you, whether you're aggro, like to raise cbets, don't give up 3b pots and so on b) if I really have anything, if I miss completely (not have AA for example), it's tough to continue with no hand no draw.
With AQ in BvB 3b pot you can go either way I think, you're really not very scared even if there's FD out there. So if the opponent is aggro and not likely to hold overpair, why not hand the rope to him so he can hang himself with all the random hands he has
Same, if you hold NFD and think the opponent and dynamics are good for semibluffing with it, why not? Then you have to estimate if he goes all-in whether he does that only with Q (you've 20% eq) or with OP (you've +35% eq) and make odds decision accordingly.
