With what hands do you think villain can call this over-bet shove to a four card straight board? This is the first hand you play with him so it's optimistic to assume he is a whale.

By betting 3.5x pot? I mean sure, but then you're counting on villain being total fish. I would just bet normally 2 more streets, hoping that villain puts us on missed FD otr if he has some showdown value. I dont want him to find fold to crap hands like this he shows up with here.

Yes, you have a point. Nothing better will fold, there are draws but still with two overcards on the board...

Also overbetting 3,5x pot when 1 to a straight is on the board is a called a negative freeroll - you are called either for a split or because you are beaten.
