If the UTG has an 8 in his hand, what is his other card?

Doesn't look like a dofus to me. You have to worry about 87s only as far as straights go, and I'm not all that sure that a nit is playing that UTG. It is nonetheless a fold, but not because of the 4-straight.

What about 88 ? or 98s.

None of these hands are likely to call the turn bet. Fish would, this is not a fish. But, there is a possibility that he calls with these, and other hands, with the intention to bluff donk the river. Same thing for an FD. It does not have the odds to call a 75% turn bet, but must rely on some bluffing too provided it just calls on a suitable river card. This is the perfect card to bluff against a thinking, but not that very thinking player. It also exploits the general reg read that says "they always have it when they donk river here"

This is why I say that the 4-straight isn't as scary as it seems. (But I am still folding:f_biggrin:)

UTG is pretty unlikely to get action with a hand like 1010 so he decides to c/c c/c donk lead OTR(which is extremely strong) afraid to get checked back into. I really don`t think he has any straights, the guy opens 10% in 6max, he does not open SCs UTG.

I believe we are beaten on the river, so folding is probably the best option.
