Poker Stars, $0.08/$0.16 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

SB: $64.12 (400.8 bb)
BB: $10.34 (64.6 bb)
Hero (UTG): $19.97 (124.8 bb)
MP: $39.74 (248.4 bb)
CO: $16.65 (104.1 bb)
BTN: $7.36 (46 bb)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with K A
Hero raises to $0.48, MP raises to $1.56, 2 folds, SB calls $1.48, 2 folds

Flop: ($3.76) 6 3 K (2 players)
SB checks, MP checks

Turn: ($3.76) 6 (2 players)
SB bets $1.79, MP folds

Preflop: Standard open, but then the 12/6 guy made a big 3bet and the BB called. The effective stacks are 125 bb's. Is this a nitty fold? If I call this, I only hope for A or K, but I won't have position and maybe not even the best hand on the flop.

MP: 12/6/34 (VPIP/PFR/H)
SB: 45/27/11 (VPIP/PFR/H)

You should not call this as you will be OOP to the 3bettor with a hand that does not play well mw.

I think fold is fine. I can't get you more than 15% equity in this hand.

Equity Win Tie
MP2 21.82% 15.90% 5.93% { AcKh }
MP3 55.22% 51.82% 3.40% { QQ+, AKs }
CO 22.95% 18.69% 4.26% { QQ-TT, AQs+, AKo }

If it was not MPvs. UTG situation the things change.

Easy call pre, yes OOP, but small sample and fish in pot.

Call is weakest move here. If you want to stay in the hand raise.

Fish with 400bb stack, which means fish on a heater:f_biggrin:. Stay away from him:f_biggrin:

No, no. It is perfect. Luck covered him 3 times, so we have better chances... :)

It is a beginners mistake to fold imo. We get 4.5:1 to call and we have maybe the fifth strongest hand and 125bb to go and semi-position.

Fear of flopping? You can fold postflop if you don't like the flop. 30% or so, you will hit that A/K, and then you should be a big favorite.

Is there a moderator here? Some answers/posts are just ridiculous. I came to Pokerstrategy to get away from all the trolls on other sites...

Don't worry, we are just kidding-trolling on occasion. All ITT know each other well, and sometimes jokes take over.
