Terrible terrible spot I think I would bet/fold that turn card... But the size of the bet is hard to figure out because of the stacks... It's a terrible spot lol :)... like a 360 bet or something might do the trick.... Not sure I guess I'll let someone else answer this question

I prefer checking behind the turn and checking or calling the river. As played I would have called the riverbet

A bit more on the flop, vs 2 opponents go for pot-sized bet.
On the turn you must make decision, either he played his flushdraw and he hit it or he did not. Based on read you either give it up or you are going broke with this hand.

not true.. your line on turn is a major bluff inducer.

It is also possible he has a weak holding on flop and decides to bet again on river (your line could have been AQ, ....)

as played would bet turn , chances are that he has missed & think you have as well

as played the river would at least call , this is to big of bet and dont want to get called

i think preflop and flop ply is fine.
on the turn you have two plays.
a) check the turn to induce a bluff on the river you have to call unless the river is very scary (say like Jd) or the bet is too big (like potsize)
b) bet/fold the turn. but this play is a bit sick because of the stack sizes.
if you bet the turn, the bet has to be 1/2 or more of the pot. so you have to bet about 500chips, leaving you with 600 left.. not really good.

so choice a) check turn behind, call river bet is probably best play. but like you say, its a hard call on the river, but IF you check the turn, he mighty bet anything on the river, something like QQ, JJ, 88, 55, A9, QJ...

tough spot.... but i think with 2,5:1 odds you have to call the riverbet.

I like your analysis. The river is still very close, but I prefer a call for the above reasons :).

could be a pretty good fold, but like calling still if a nonscary card comes.
