Hero (SB): $19.08 (119.2 bb)
BB: $21.66 (135.4 bb)
UTG: $16.76 (104.8 bb)
MP: $16.36 (102.3 bb)
CO: $16 (100 bb)
BTN: $94.64 (591.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 8 K
3 folds, BTN raises to $0.32, Hero raises to $1.12, BB folds, BTN calls $0.80

Flop: ($2.40) 3 T 4 (2 players)
Hero bets $1.29, BTN calls $1.29

Turn: ($4.98) 2 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $2.43, Hero calls $2.43

River: ($9.84) J (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $89.80 and is all-in, Hero folds

Preflop: Decided to bluff 3bet. He open raises almost 100% from the BTN, but he doesn't fold to 3bets alot, he mostly calls. Not really sure should I rather fold K8s in this situation.

Flop: With BDFD and an overcard, decided to cbet.

Turn: I hit a FD, but I don't expect to have a fold equity, so decided to check/call.

River: Nothing else to do.

BTN: 33/31/78/25/0/6,5/54 (VPIP/PFR/BTN_RFI/Ft3B/4B/AF/H)

OTT, if you plan to check-call with a draw (releasing initiative), it is likely better to make that bet yourself. Then you set the price and you do have fold equity (whatever your gut feeling tells you). If you do check-call, you need a river donk range that includes bluffs. I'd not bluff on this river though.

What do you think about the flop cbet? Not that much FE.
I think that we should not turn our plus EV Preflop decision into a minus EV move by cbetting every flop.

This is a point worth quoting. I am myself playing a lot tighter, and squeeze much less than the average guy in these forums when I am in the blinds. The reason is precisely that my postflop game has imperfections that turns a +EV play into a -EV one. The sens moral is to skip the +0.5 bb preflop move to avoid the -2 bb postflop moves.

By symmetric reasoning, in position, I do it the other way around. I make -0.5 bb preflop 3-bets because I know the guy I raise will make -2 bb postflop mistakes versus me when I am IP.

I am saving the resteal/squeeze plays until I can do them properly postflop.

Here we give up the hand otf (which I prefer) or make 2 barrels on this particular flop and turn. I think x/calling turn is worse. We do not get good odds and it is doubtfull if we could extract more value if hit our flush.
