Problems with bottom set on turn

I think that sets are pushing the flop. Maybe A♠K♠: would play this way. Other possible hand is KQ. But I think you played it well. After x/r the flop I don't see reason to x the turn.

Bet turn bigger and get it in.

I put it in equilab now and see that even against A♠K:Ax: you have the odds to call. So, agree with calling.

I don't think he has a higher set, otherwise he'd shove flop. Because the only hand that beats you is AK, and because you have the right odds, I'd call.

I think we will rarely fold sets in general. In this situation, I don't think he has a straight on the turn that often, because I think he won't bet/call AK on the flop often, except AsKs and maybe he is even 3betting this. Sets are probably 3betting, too. I think I would bet the turn and get it in, but I somehow don't feel very good about it.

I think we should be more concerned about QQ/JJ than AsKs. Maaaaaaybe he has QT here sometimes too.

I don't have Equilab on my work computer, so what's our equity against QQ/JJ/AsKs/QTs?

@ OP do you think he could ever play something like AsJs this way? Maybe even AA ("oh no there's two flush draws and the board is super-coordinated I better shove my overpair to stop him hitting")?
