Good or Bad call? I call with air on river, A7s vs. K6s on failed flush draw and win.

So, I basically called on the river with air, A7s and I won against K6s on a failed flush draw. I felt like this was a really good call, because I ended up putting him on two hands and he had one of them. But I'd like to hear from you guys. Thanks for any input:

Interesting hand I think. I expect you get more feedback on the hand discussion forum.
That’s why I have moved you’re thread.

Cheers,

Hey!

I think the best play with this hand on a texture like this is the raise on the flop. Because you want to get information, and you are in position (you can see cheaper the river) And you are pushing out the third player from the pot maybe with better hand like one pair, or a hand what has an decent equity. And the fish guy (Or not a fish? You didn't talk about the opponent. If he is a reg I would probably just call, If i have information that he is donking with a draw I would raise it too) I expect to donk/call any pair (you didn't mentioned the 8x hands, what is a possible combination in opponents "range", or the FD+pair hands) and draw so you are getting value. On the turn I would continue, if he checking. if he donks again, it depends on a size, I would just call or fold. And the river unimproved just check back. Played like this I would just fold on a river, because I don't see too many bluf combos K♥:6♥: K♥:4♥: or maybe lover flus draw without a pair.

Why do we want to push the third player out of the pot, especially if he has a Pair or a medium strength hand? I would prefer to have more implied odds with the nut FD there. Raising is a mistake on flop and turn. We do not need to pump the pot as we hold Ax yet, and as our kicker is low too, it is not good to put much money in there.
Call on river is not ok for me.

raising turn is questionable ?!?
if u see yourself from his eyes, i think u should have a very strong hand to raise turn and that does not happen so often.

River is an ok call if u ask me.... he can bet/fold Qx but otherwise he has a bluff there

Thanks for feedback:

@SDK1987: Sorry, I didn't know about those child forums. Thanks for the tip. :)

@Alex880627: I didn't raise on flop, because I had a feeling he was gonna pay me off either way, if the flush came. You might be right though, I could try to add some value to it just in case he wouldn't ship otherwise. But if so, calling on the river may not have been as viable I think.

@bonecore: I guess you're right. If we hit the flush, I would likely put him all-in unless the board pairs. I think my logic was to represent a strong hand that would be beaten by a flush, increasing his chance of re-raising or going all-in on the river if he checks and I bet. But maybe that's redundant in this spot.

In either case, I'm happy I was able to make a good read.

The third player's has a decent equity if he has a pair and I think we can be happy if we are pushing out an equity and staying just with a fish (?), and anyway if we are just calling we can't get any value from middle pairs or from another pair type hands. If the third player is strong he will call or raise, and we can get more information, if just calling, we can realize equity because we are in position if raising we can fold it.

I do not agree with that. We hold a draw and we need as much implied odds as possible. And what will you do if someone pushed? Fold? Call?
Best play mw is to call and see a turn imo.

I agree with nitrol on this. I think that calling the flop is better than raising. Nevertheless, If we do want to raise at some point, I think it's better to raise the flop than turn because what are we raising the turn with that we didn't raise the flop with? We don't have 64 that often, so we are representing 55 only, imo. When we raise the turn, I don't think he is calling his non nut flushdraws that often, so I believe he is getting to the river with at least a pair, which makes our river call questionable, I would say. Overall, I would go with call flop / call turn line and give up the river.
