Villain 3bets wide (17 percent over 20 possible 3b scenario's). I put him on mostly AQo+, 99+ (probably wider but small sample). I semi bluff raise, believing he will fold AQ, AK and some random SC. He pushes me AI on R. I don't believe he has alot of value hands in his range with which he would take this line. Maybe TT and QQ? Either way, this isn't a spot to slowplay those hands. My check on T shows weakness, so he could bluff JJ. AA and KK would probably check call R.

I like the hand. We are AI anyway with this turn card, but as played we give him chance to bluff the river.

The question is: are there any scare cards that will stop the action on river?

he 3bets 17% from 20 times
this means 3.4 times in 20 scenarios. I think something is wrong with what you are telling because he can not 3bet 3.4 times.
it is more likeliy 17% from 18 scenarious. this is 3 out of 18.
I think this is not enough to say that he is 3betting wide, especially in this case!
he 3bets BB vs UG. His range should be much tighter. So during the hand i would be very cautious!
The preflop call is still not bad because he 3bet small and we have odds to call. We can beat KK because we have the A.
However even if we hit A i would be very cautios in this hand and plan to win a medium to small pot!
Not really wanting to play for stacks!!!

Having said that... we flop nice and he bets into us.
If we turn our hand into a bluff then no strong hand that he represents is folding... The flop raise is so bad that it hurts me looking at it.
On flop it is a simple call!
if he is not cbetting Turn then we have a perfect oportunity to overbetshove here!
Turning our high equity hand into a bluff when he shows weakness. Now this is a good bluff!
this was not the case in the hand since we stole the initiative so he can still have sets and overpairs.

River call is spew. It could be a good call only if the guy is close to a maniac type player, or capable of bluffing all in when we show weakness

Was probably 3 out of 18 i rounded it up to 20 hands. I like that you give your opinion. But don't critisize and overeact next time if you will. I gave him tigher range than 17 percent because of small sample. Even though this is only the 4th time he 3b, i am not totally wrong to think he 3b wide. If i am correct than play on flop is fine imo, it's the rivercall i'm not sure about...

Try giving villain a range on river and we'll see from there...

So in what spot would someone 3bet, overbet a set in this spot. Do you not think overbet shoving is narrowing villains range so much that there are so many more winning hands calling than bluffs. If villain calls flop he must be continuing TT-AA when we consider his three bet and AQ+, OP blocks AQ and AK and AA, as well as flush draws. If we shove river surely we only get called by a better hand that continued flop.

I like a raise on the flop if you are aware villain 3bets light and can fold pre, if he has a very low 3bet% I flat flop due to the fact it is heavier with overpairs that likely don't fold flop and against a random they likely GII on the flop.

Think I misinterpreted bonecores intended action;

flat call flop, shove turn when checked to is what he is suggesting?

I hate that, turn check will increase likelyhood of TT, JJ, AT (if AT is in 3betting range, it is thin), turning it in to a bluff likely gets AK to fold. If you think villain is checking back all worse hands than AQ why push villain off bluffs that have ~10% equity vs your AQ. If villain checks back worse hands and folds to a bet then you should check back call river allowing villain to bluff more.
