Just taking a moment to introduce myself on here.

I'm an exclusive Pokerstars player, I don't like any other software available on the web.

I'm still a NL2 player despite years of playing casually, now I wish to take things more seriously and progress up the ranks of the Poker ladder, although I have escaped the doldrums of NL2, 2 or 3 times, I usually withdraw my cash, play badly on Badugi or Spend it in the Casino(I hate this on Pokerstars now)

I always play 9 Handed and used to play a mixture of Regular and Zoom although I am now concentrating my efforts solely on Regular games and have completed my last 25K hands this way , I usually play around 2K hands per day.

I'm looking to improve my game, I have serious issues understanding and applying the mathematics to the game, patience and discipline.

I make use of Poker Tracker and play around 17/14, my foes would probably call me a TAGFish.

I would like to re-build my game and plug my leaks, can any seasoned veterans of this community point me in the right direction?

Regards and Happy Winning to all.

I believe you have come to the perfect place! Pokerstrategy is all about plugging our poker skills leaks!
I am also a newcomer but I am well aware of pokerstrategy. As you mentioned a seasoned veteran or one of the grandpa's in this community will post here with some details :) enjoy your stay and see you in the tables !

Hello KingHouse

Welcome on the PokerStrategy forum :welcome:

Always nice to see a cash gamer here. I think it’s good to check the threads https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?threadid=334218&page=1 and https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?threadid=337332&page=1 for more information about how to play on the cash game tables. It’s more for short handed players, but I think it’s also useful for you.

I also recommend posting hands on regularly bases on our Hand discussions for No Limit board. This way you get feedback on hands you aren’t sure you play it well. If you don’t know how to post hands the appropriate way you can always check the https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?postid=1432571#post1432571 for more information how it works.

It looks like your still a basic member and than you can use 1 or more of our free money offers on poker rooms you don’t have a account yet.

Further I wish you a pleasant stay on our forum and if you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask them.

Best regards,
SDK1987

Thank you for the warm welcomes, RLd and SDK, it's much appreciated.

I'll be sure to check out your suggested threads and post my hads for discussion and evaluation in the appropriate forums.

I may sign up t a new room if I can find some software that I enjoy, although I am definitely a PokerStars fan boy.

Kind Regards
KingHouse

P.S, Out of curiosity, what do the Chip Badges in your signature indicate?

Allow me to recommend Netbet poker which previously was poker777.. It is the only platform I use other than pokerstars.
The players, interface and user experience and most importantly , the vibes i get towards the players in that player room is simply beautiful.

They are PokerStrategy SideKick badges. If you want this as well you can download the software and than you can change you’re signature in the forum settings. .If you make you’re signature like this you will see you’re last 5 received Kicks:
Off course you need to be at least a bronze member if you want to be sure it will work out.

Cheers,
