So i been playing lowly for a while and today i hit up a MTT i was flirting with top 5 whole time until there was around 12 left and bubbles impending burst. I got eliminated and feel hard done by lol.

Maybe i should of shut up shop but i plAyed AK with an ace on tne board and got rivered with a low two pair. This killed my stack and my eventual elimination.

Thinking of taking a few day break to get over that heart ache. Does anyone else do this? Or just get back in the pan?

Hey Kirkwood89,

That was unfortunate but it's a fairly standard part of bubble eliminations. Normally a bigstack will make a light call because he knows that shorter stacks are playing with a very narrow range.

You did exactly the right thing by playing AK there and it's hard to put opponents on hands like low 2Ps.

And yes, you forget all about it and jump back in the fire. Never let yourself be influenced by the past when facing a similar situation in the future.

GL at the tables :gl:
