NL Holdem $0.10(BB) Replayer
SB ($6.12)
Hero ($10)
UTG ($10.73)
UTG+1 ($4.68)
CO ($10)
BTN ($10)

Dealt to Hero A♥ K♠

fold, fold, fold, BTN raises to $0.30, fold, Hero raises to $0.90, BTN calls $0.60

FLOP ($1.85) T♠ 6♠ 3♦

Hero ???

Villain is a 15/11 with 3.7 3bet and 17% fold to 3 bet; so his calling range is pretty wide here.

I never know what to do with this hand on this boards. I mean the whole postflop line.

How much he opens from the BTN and how big is the sample size?

Bet the flop, two over cards bd fd and straight. You could also ck/cl. Since I dont think you wanna cbet that texture too often. So just dont fold OTF and ure doing fine imo.

I think bet here could be OK, we can continue on many turn cards and he can have plenty of broadways which missed the flop.

Just answer it yourself. Why do you 3bet against him? Where does the money coming from?

3bet pre and he is folding -> yes or no
cbet postflop he is folding -> yes or no

When you dont know it your 3bet is questionable. At minimum you can play it tight and wait till you see more hands from your opponent.

And for the Hand. you 3bet probably 3-6 % and he will usally call with pairs+ AQ+, so most of the time he will have something and will call 1 bet. So you can give up what is good for you Handplan or win this with aggression by math. How often does that need to be sucsessfull.

You have 2overs and two backdoors and the Initiative on your side. So not really much.

Do you know how much he 4bets? He doesnt need to be calling 3bets often. IT could be his first time. So you can narrow down his range.

With 2 overs and 2 backdoor draws we can cbet.

you have to be careful using the stats to determine his calling range is wide based on his F3B%, he's a 15/11.... his opening range isn't wide in the first place

You have to consider someone F3B is a direct relation to the opening range. In extreme if villian opened only aces his fold 3b would be zero

You are right, but still the BTN is the position with the widest range. Even for 15/11 player it can be pretty wide. That is why I wanted Hero to post additional stats.

Hi, sorry for taking so long to post, Pokerstrategy UI is totally different for me (if anyone know how to see my own forum posts from the home page without having to make 3-4 clicks...)

In a total of 431 hands:

- He open raises 50% from the BU
- His 17% fold to 3bet corresponds to 1 fold in 6 3bets he has received (the fold was with him on early position)
- He has called 3 times out of 6 3bets and 4betted 2 times

So that's why I posted the hand, I think he is pretty loose and even though I know AKo is ahead of his calling range I don't know how to plan this kind of hands in this low flops. Is he gonna fold 88-99-JJ in this flop? In 2 barrels?

This is how the hand played out in the end, but I feel if I keep playing like that this kind of villains are making a lot of money from me:

TURN ($1.85) T♠ 6♠ 3♦ 5♣

Hero checks, BTN bets $1.06, Hero folds

BTN wins $1.77

No, they are not making lot of money from you. You cannot fight for every pot.
