Hello thoppil

Welcome on the PokerStrategy forum :welcome:

I have moved you’re hand to the hand discussion board, because it fits better there.

As cash game fish I would bet the flop and turn more for value against a unknown on NL2.
Now he’s raising the turn you’re most likely behind against trips or something. Without any reads I would make a tight fold on the turn.

Cheers,

Biggest mistake in the hand is the preflop sizing, the 3bet should be 20c at least, if vs a fish quite a lot bigger than 20c even. 11c is way too small for a 3bet, especially out of position.

Flop cbet is ok vs unknown as played, turn should be a bigger bet since most nl2 guys won't fold a 9 or better, and they won't fold draws, for 40c. I would be planning on betting most rivers when called on the turn too at nl2 because generally 9x is not folding on xKKxx boards

I actually think its a very easy fold on the turn when raised here.

I agree that our 3 B pre is very small. You have to make it bigger. As you will be OOP postflop, I would make it even bigger. :)
Bet bigger on flop too and fold vs the raise on turn.
