Since I raised from UTG and the villian's PFR is only 8, should I consider laying down this hand? I'm speaking in terms of beyond basic SSS play, specifically when bigstacks readjust their play against known SSS players.

If MP3 has you as a short stack, he should only be raising with KK+.

JJ is 18.6% vs that range. You need around 36% to make the call with the pot odds. Fold. If MP3 is playing as per his stats then its an easy push. So it just depends on your read of the player I guess, whether he's liable to adjust his ranges against you etc.

Based on his stats only you have an easy push, however if he really plays as he should vs a shorty then he raises KK+ only and you should fold...

...but when I see him making a minraise I would definatly not put him on a range of a thinking player who knows a lot about poker, so I would push.

with over 1K hands played against you he is a regular and he prob uses software. So he knows you are a SSS.

Why I fold here:
- He doesnt raise much.
- He knows you have a good hand.
- BSS only minraises with KK+ against a SSS, maybe a shove would indicate QQ...
- JJ sucks.

Hi mikelstwe,

NL10 + NL25 is sticking to basic SSS + some basic enhancements, no need to rely on stats here because people often play more randomly on NL10 than on NL1k for example.

Therefore just shove this JJ on a Reraise.
As an addition, I will push AKo+,JJ+ if I had stats on him
