Hi Janosikgdy,

I like to raise the flop directly. If he has a better made hand you have outs and if he has a flushdraw you are ahead and you are sometimes even better.
The advantage is that you might kick the 3rd with a better 1-card flushdraw. Maybe even a better pair if he is not too showdownbound.
