$0.05/$0.1 No Limit Holdem
9 players

3 players had just joined, so there were 3 BBs and 2 limpers.

Hero (SB) ($1.60)
Pre-flop: ($0.35, 9 players) Hero is SB A♠ K♠
UTG checks, 1 fold, MP1 calls $0.10, 2 folds, CO checks, BTN calls $0.10, Hero ?...

Think I'd favour a push here. You'd be OOP on any flop and pretty committed if called when making a standard raise, and no-one has shown any strength. Counting 4BB's in there plus blinds, standard raise is 4xBB + 4, so to 80c, which is 1/2 your stack OOP, so its just easier to push.

As matt said, it's an easy push preflop. When you sit in the blinds you can always push when there are 3+ limpers, specially when you have a decreased stack like in this situation.

Thanks for answering. I also thought a push was the correct play even though SSS says to push only when you'd be committing more than half your stack.

you'd need to reraise to 0.8 anyways, which is half your stack :P

nice push

Hello Clicks,

As stated by previous posts of other players (thanks!)

It is an easy push because 1) you have to invest like 50% of your stack, 2) you are Out of Position postflop

Best regards,
