Hello, I decided I wanted to try and get some review on my hands from last nights session. I posted another thread about my hands played at another table but decided against putting the hands from all the tables in that thread. Instead I will post the hands from another table in here. Mainly the interesting hands where I did more than just limp my pocket deuces and then check-fold when there was no deuce on the flop.

I had to manually make the hand histories since I found no hand recorder to use.

All hands are 10 handed unless stated otherwise

Hand 1:
UTG (5.85)
UTG+1 (5.60)
MP1 (1.76)
MP3 (9.69)
BU (3.94)
Hero is SB (5.92) with A♦4♠
BB (5.34)

UTG limps, UTG+1 limps, MP1 limps, MP3 limps, BU limps, Hero limps, BB checks

FLOP (0.43): A♥ 7♣ 4♥
Hero bets 0.40, BB fold, UTG fold, UTG+1 fold, MP1 calls, MP3 fold, BU calls

TURN (1.57): 5♠
Hero bets 1.54, MP1 fold, BU calls

RIVER (4.50): Q♦
Hero bets 1.97, BU calls (all in)

Hand 2:
UTG (5.70)
UTG+1 (1.06)
MP3 (4.67)
Hero is CO (5.97) with J♦T♦
SB (5.91)
BB (3.06)

UTG limps, UTG+1 limps, MP3 limps, Hero limps, SB limps, BB checks

FLOP (0.35): Q♦6♠6:diamond
SB checks, BB bets 0.12, UTG-MP3 folds, Hero calls, SB fold

TURN (0.57): T♣ (I consider this extra outs now)
SB bets 0.24, Hero calls

RIVER (1.03): 8♦
SB bets 0.24, Hero raise 0.84, SB calls 0.60

Should I have bet more on the river? Do you think he would still call with a worse hand? Reads; timid, weak player.

Hand 3:
UTG (5.68)
BU (8.34) reads, straightforward player. Bets his good cards
Hero is BB (7.34) with 4♥3♥

UTG limps, BU limps, Hero checks

FLOP (0.20): J♦ 3♣ J♠
check, check, check

TURN (0.20): 5♣
Hero bets 0.10, UTG fold, BU calls

RIVER (0.39): 8♥
Hero bets 0.19, BU fold

Was this too marginal? I just had the feeling he wouldn't reraise me if he had the jack. He could call with a f-draw but fold to a riverbet if it didn't hit.

Hand 4:
UTG+1 (5.91)
UTG+2 (5.87)
CO (18.07)
Hero is BB (7.48) with A♠3♠

UTG+1 limps, UTG+2 limps, CO limps, Hero checks

FLOP (0.26): J♥ 3♥ 9♠
check, check, check, check

TURN (0.26): A♦
Hero bets 0.24, UTG fold, UTG+2 calls, CO fold

RIVER (0.73): 2♥
Hero bets 0.54, UTG+2 fold

Was this a reckless bet on the river considering the flush?

Hand 5 (took like an hour before I really played a hand again on that table): I think I may have extracted too little value of this one trying to be smart and slowplaying.

Hero is UTG (7.57) with 2♥2♦
SB (10.80)
BB (12.83)

Hero limps, UTG+1 limps, SB limps, BB raise 0.18, Hero calls, UTG+1 fold, SB calls

FLOP (0.66): A♠ J♥ 2♣
SB checks, BB bets 0.30, Hero calls (should have raised, yes?), SB fold

TURN (1.23): 4♥
BB bets 0.30, Hero raise 1.02, BB calls (should have raised more, yes?)

RIVER (3.23): K♥ (nasty card)
BB bets 0.48, Hero calls

I got so annoyed at my own play, the flush card scared me of any river raise so I just called. Should have made the pot bigger from early on, tried to be smart with a stupid slowplay. Here I had waited reaaally long for a hand to even limp with, I hit the set and don't get his stack. He was a very careful player but I guess I could have extracted much more.

Hand 6:
Hero is UTG+2 (9.52) with Q♥Q♣
MP1 (2.85)

Hero raise 0.36 (some dead blinds), MP1 calls, rest fold

FLOP (0.83): 4♦ 7♠ J♠ (I remember it going through my head; "against this middle stack I am going broke any time of the day on this flop")
Hero bets 0.83, MP1 calls. What does this call mean, do I have to assume a Jack or isn't a flushdraw just as likely?

TURN (2.41): J♣
Hero bets 1.26, MP1 calls. Now I really think flushdraw, though he only has 40 cent left.

RIVER (4.80): 3♥
Hero bets 0.40, MP1 calls

Guess what he had

Hand 7:
UTG+1 (3.64)
CO (5.03), reads; ROCK
Hero is BU (6.78) Q♦J♦
SB (7.43)
BB (7.00)

UTG+1 limps, CO bets 0.24, Hero calls, SB calls, BB calls, UTG+1 calls

FLOP (1.14): 9♦ 7♦ 5♣
SB check, BB bet 0.48, UTG+1 fold, CO fold, Hero calls, SB fold

TURN (2.06): 3♥
BB bet 0.66, Hero calls

RIVER (3.31): J♠
BB bet 0.66, Hero calls

Should I have reraised at some point to get more value out of this?

Hand 8:
Hero is UTG+2 (9.15) with A♠Q♠
MP1 (4.10)

Hero bets 0.24, MP1 calls

FLOP (0.55): 8♦ 3♠ T♦
Hero bets 0.42, MP1 calls

TURN (1.34): 7♦
Hero checks, MP1 bets 0.06, Hero calls

RIVER (1.46): 6♠
Hero checks, MP1 bets 0.06, Hero calls

Hand 9:
Hero is UTG+2 (8.37) with A♦3♦
MP1 (4.89)
MP3 (2.87)
SB (9.87)
BB (6.00)

Hero openlimps trash, MP1 limps, MP3 limps, SB limps, BB checks

FLOP (0.32): 2♦ 7♠ A♣
check, check, check, check, check

TURN (0.32): 2♠
check, check, Hero bets 0.14, fold, fold, fold, fold, BB calls

RIVER (0.59): T♦
BB checks, Hero bets 0.28, BB raise 0.56, Hero calls

Hand 10:
UTG+2 (2.91)
MP3 (6.80)
Hero is SB (8.63) with 7♣4♣
BB (6.02)

UTG+2 limps, MP3 limps, Hero limps, BB checks

FLOP (0.23): 8♣ 7♦ K♣
check, check, check, check

TURN (0.23): A♦
Hero checks, BB bets 0.30, UTG+2 calls, MP3 fold, Hero fold
Was this a bad fold?

Hand 11:
Hero is UTG+1 (10.53) with 8♣7♣ (i went up after a KK hand which I think was too standard for discussion, shortstack push, I re-push)
UTG+2 (3.54)
MP1 (5.94)
CO (7.01)
SB (9.97)
BB (14.56)

Hero openlimps (bad?), UTG+2 limps, MP1 limps, CO limps, SB limps, BB checks

FLOP (0.35): A♣ 9♠ K♣
SB bets 0.06, BB fold, Hero calls, UTG+2 calls, MP1 calls, CO fold

TURN (0.57): 4♣
SB checks, Hero bets 0.42, UTG+2 calls, MP1 fold, SB fold

RIVER (1.37): 5♣
check, check

Well, that's it for that table. I hope someone will take a look at this. I especially need to get better at extracting more money when I have the best hand.

Hi,
so many hands in one post .Ok,let's start:
1)Nh.Pot odds to call 12:1 preflop.For Axo need 20:1 if I don't lie.
2)Nh.I don't think you should raise more on the river when u have paired board.
Against tight passives sometimes can not raise at all because they can not raise or bet big even full house sometimes.
2)if you have FE,why not.Nh.
4)you can play bet /fold on the river,or check/call against habitual bluffer or c/f against good player.
5)on flop can raise or not, opponent range depending, because of semi dry board. On turn raise pot size, not less. And river is ok for me.Sometimes block bet is value bet with medium hand like Ax,sometimes can be flush-he thinks you do not pay big bet.
6) bet turn to get him all in.Nh.
7)usually should fold preflop.I'd often raise on flop with fd,opp often didn't hit such flop and his bet too small. He's bets so small ,u can bluff raise on turn ,if u have FE.I'd call river because of pot odds 5:1,need to win 1 out of 6.
8)your on preference to raise AQs from ep.Why you raise so much? 0.16$-4 BB is enough.Nh.can II barrell sometimes if he is not calling station.can't fold river for 24:1 pot odds.
9)fold preflop.I'd b/f river (b/b/ b/f ) or pot control and bluff induce.
10)Pot odds is 6:1,can call preflop such ....Bet flop (can call too).N,I think fold is good because pot odds is 2:1.
11)Fold preflop.Raise flop/bet turn/bet river.Also check/call can be good in case of better flush,sometimes bet/f river depending on opp.
Good luck :)

Thanks, I will remember to post one hand in each thread next time.

8)your on preference to raise AQs from ep.Why you raise so much? 0.16$-4 BB is enough.Nh.can II barrell sometimes if he is not calling station.can't fold river for 24:1 pot odds.

The big blind is 0.06$ ;)

Nh.can II barrell sometimes if he is not calling station.can't fold river for 24:1 pot odds.

He was a kind of a calling station. The 2 barrel would not be successfull, he had A8, middle pair is good enough for a calling station to call a raise with. Though they will minbet it themselves. I called down because of the ridicolous low bet and to find out what he had. Note on player; minbet=very marginal hand.
I found that I should only 2 barrel aggressive players and weak timid players. Aggressive players because if I don't, they usually float me and scared players because if I bet they fold their draw when it don't hit on turn and call when they have the nuts.
I don't two barrel maniacs because they may take it as a challenge and rebluff all in. As for calling stations. Well I try the contibet on flop against them, even they won't call with total air, they need at least bottom pair.
Short summary, I don't 2 barrel on Pacific without reads. I usually assume the players are either calling stations or maniacs unless I have other reads.

Just as an example;
Maybe it is not recommended but I found out that the starting hands chart does not count against maniacs when it comes to raises and reraises. Fold jacks to an all in?
Here is a hand from yesterday:

Hero is CO (9.53) with J♣J♦
BB (4.37)

5 limpers, Hero raise 0.54, BB raise 4.31 (all in), limpers fold, Hero calls

Hero shows J♣J♦, BB shows 5♦5♥

I also tend to limp some questionable hands preflop due to the good implied odds which is the entire stack of a maniac or calling station. I don't know what you think of this? I would not do it on Mansion of course, the land of the rocks.
