Hi Everyone,

Here is a situation I came across in a normal speed 0,25 euros Full Ring SNG.

Villain seems fishy and his shove tells me he has bottom or middle pair so I am tempted to call, but the stacks are very deep and that is a bit scary. What would you do here??

It looks like you’re not playing on the .eu or .com client or I missed something.

Without reads on the MP2 player I would newer call with TT on a K high board for such a over shove. I don’t want to risk so much chips and stack off with top pair or better in spots like this.

Cheers,

Easy fold. You don't have top pair, can't risk all your stack. He also looks like a tight player. He must have a better hand.

Thanks for the replies!

SDK1987, I am playing on the .FR site.

My reasoning when he shoves is that he actually does not hold much. Why would he take the risk to push me off the hand if he has 2 pairs or better when he could easily wait until I Cbet and then call down and shove turn or river?

So here I am thinking he has at best a King.

In the actual hand, I called and he showed J9.

But yeah that was pretty risky considering the stack sizes.

At least you can make a note on him that he over shoved with less than top pair in spots like this.

Looking at his stats, how he played the hand pre-flop and this weird shove on the flop I would be definitely sure he didn't had the K.
I would actually believe he had some strong pocket pairs like JJ or QQ and maybe some suited conectors like QJ.
But without notes on him, there's just no way to call this ( he could always have the K ).

nice hero call for you (: but be careful

Haha yeah that is probably not worth risking a deep stack in such a close situation!

No-brainer fold. So big bet here, and we don't have reads that he is nuts. Even if we did have, I would like to know that we have more than 2 outs here..
