I had a very similar hand earlier, I had bottom set on a 236 double suited like yours, mine was HU now I believe this is player dependent, the thing about your hand here is there are 4 players in the hand, and although you think you have a strong hand here, based on the action the player is representing the nuts 67 there is still A2 and 26 in rare cases depending on players.

67 is in the raising range of CO and Btn probably has something like 88 judging by his stack size, he could also do this with QQ+ but without any imformation on him, I wouldn't assume that

Its a tough spot to fold

Vs unknown players I believe this should be a standard fold

Yes, would have fold this as well. There is a good chance you will lose 100 bb+ and you will get trips only 1 in 8 times on average. Having said this, the chance you will get trips on a dry board and win an all in with trips is even lower so your win rate doesn't justify this call IMO.

Iz you MAD?

I haz got a set. In his range you have FD, 54s,43s,67s,A2, pretty much any PPs

and I think that he actually rarely has got the hard cold nuts showing on the flop or even an absolute monster. Shoving on the flop is usually a fishy play and generally mean that they don't want to see any other cards and want to get the pot now!

Very different from a river overbet IMO

MP2 62.62% 60.99% 1.63% 3h3c
MP3 37.38% 35.74% 1.63% TT-22, A2s, 76s, 65s, 53s+, 43s, A2o

I snap call it. every day

thazar's range looks pretty reasonable to me. We even have almost 40% equity vs nut straight here. Looks like a call.

Without some information that villain pulls this move frequently, I don't put OPs or FDs in his range, so I give him {54s, 43s, 67s, 44, 55, 67s, A2}. I don't have equilab here, but I doubt that gives us sufficient equity to call (even though we do have 7 (rising to 10) outs for a FH or quads).

With the range you gave we will have 39.24% equity and we need 35.99% so it is still a call.

It would rarely be a mistake to call this with a set. Especially when the BTN calls, we have even better pot odds to call.

I think we can call here. We have enough equity.

4 players are on the flop 1 player shoved and another called, im not sure if were ever in front here

I am playing NL10 at the moment and have played quite a few hands, in my experience, when a player shoves in this spot its rarely an over pair, unless there a maniac.

lol are you guys high?

OP just never fold a set on the flop at NL10 and you won't go far wrong.

If being high means, believing that an unknown player wont shove over our 3/4 pot donk bet 4 way on this pretty dangerous board with QQ+ then yeah im mega high :f_biggrin:

CO is clearly a fish. He can have overpairs. He's certainly not limited to A2/76/55/44.

an over pair, 2 pairs, I have even see n people playing 22 on this board (but that might be pushing it)

given BTN's stack size, I would also assume he is a fish and you'd be also amazed of his range...

But sometimes they will have it...
And sometimes they won't have it but they will suck out...
Does that mean that you should fold? hell no!

even if you're behind a set this time, there is still a 3 in the deck ;)

How can you say CO is clearly a fish, this is a very good play, this donk looks very strong so if CO is thinking he knows its something like a set, now the board is very dangerous so any A 2 6 7 or  could mess up a hand like 67 or A2 getting a double up from 2 pair to sets

You guys automatically think that its fishy because its a shove, but that's the way I look at it, im not saying I am right, but I don't like to assume players are stupid until I see it, seeing this shove looks strong to me for that reason above
