This is my first time to post a hand to the forum. Earlier, I've always played at Unibet and the hand history is not in a form that could be copied in text format and I don't like just posting a screenshot.
This is zoom and I don't have any sort of reads or history with the villain, so he's totally unknown to me.
Pre-flop, AJo is a hand that I rarely fold against a normal sized raise from BB when I've opened from the button. Of course, we'll end up many times in WA/WB situations on an A-high board, more often way behind against unknown BB's 3bet range. The general assumption is that they don't 3bet much on NL5, even in blind battle.
OTF, we have a top pair and the board is super dry otherwise, so calling is practically the only option.
OTT, I decide to check behind. Second heart appears, but I suspect him to semi-bluff his hearts, so in terms of pot control I check back. Retrospectively, I could've bet because I think stronger aces would have double barreled. I am planning to call any under the pot-size bet OTR, unless ace hits when I'll of course raise. If the villain will check, I'll bet for value.
River is a brick. The villain checks, so I bet half of the pot to get value from weaker aces or 77-KK
