Hello,

PKR, $0.10/$0.25 Pot Limit Omaha Cash, 4 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

SB: $34.50 (138 bb)
BB: $46.84 (187.4 bb)
CO: $53.62 (214.5 bb)
Hero (BTN): $59.31 (237.2 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with 5 3 A J
CO folds, Hero raises to $0.75, SB raises to $2.50, BB folds, Hero calls $1.75

Flop: ($5.25) 2 J 6 (2 players)
SB bets $5.25, Hero raises to $21, SB raises to $32 and is all-in, Hero calls $11

Player 3betting is playing 90/15 with 15 3bet. Probably knowing this I shouldve tightened my opening range?
On the flop I have top pair with gutter and BDFD; player has cbet 100% over 11 occasions so far and I imagined him having cbet/folding range there as well so I jammed.
If it was someone other that doesn't cbet 100% calling is perfectly fine isnt it?

I actually think you could give up this hand pre-flop, doesn't seem strong enough. If the guy is 3-betting tons of hands, you should play tighter, have 4-bet range or do something creative, like limp/calling with some decent hands.

E: I don't like the raise versus his pot-size bet on flop. If you raise here, you are just making him fold hands that you are already ahead of. You have too much equity to waste it here.

Also, I had something to add here but I already forgot :f_eek:

Hi!

Pre you can make it 2,5x or 2x instead of 3x to lower the spr IP against fish. Limping can also be fine if you fear the 3 bet. AS played OTF I do not see any merit of the raise, you are happy to see a turn card any  :2x::3x::4x::5x::5x::Ax::Jx: is good for you, I wouldnt fear the straight bcause of the wide range he has. But by jamming, you take the opportunity of bluffing (spewing) from him.

Hi,

good hand example where OOP we would like to raise, but IP a call seems superior. Good visibility on a lot of turns, and when he pots it he is weighted towards actually hitting something here. The only problem would be him having a KQJ9 type of hand we crush and make a bad fold ott. So with a lower spr (100 deep) i would ship flop, here i like the call more.
