Hello,

Soo... today when I woke up I made a live bet @ 888sports. 7 games, 18 odds and won 6 of 7.

The last game is a cricket match. I waited for 4 hours to finish and when I check flashscore it's saying end of day 1.

http://www.flashscore.com/match/KMbjLTWP/#match-summary

When shold I expect the match to end? I found on google that it can last up to 5 days, but I am not sure.

Hi omuprajit200,

you have been betting on a "Test cricket" match, which is the more traditional version of cricket that can indeed take as much as five days, unlike more recent versions, which have a limited amount of overs (e.g. 50 overs for One Day International cricket or 20 overs for Twenty20's), and which are therefore typically finished after a couple of hours.

Test cricket works like this: One team keeps batting until every batsman is out, or until the team has "declared", which means that they stopped playing because they decided that they have scored enough runs. This is considered an inning. After that, the next inning starts, which means that the other team gets to bat now, and after that, there will be two more innings. If there is no winner after five days, the game ends in a tie, no matter how big the score difference is.

I hope that answers your question. You can find some more info over here.

well sounds like you bet on a 'Test Match' they could last up to 5 days, if it does get to the end of day 5 with no winner its a draw.
Each team has to bat 2 innings
the team battle the final of the 4 innings needs to score the total amount of runs set by other team to win
The team bowling on the final innings needs to get 10/11 batsmen out before the score the target set all within 5 days

If u want to bet on games with results at the end of the day you need to bet on 1 days(50 over cricket) 20/20 cricket or Englands 40 over cricket

but hey if you did bet on Australia i think you're gonna win your money

Is it wise to bet on a game you know nothing about?

Sounds a bit fishy to me!
