Hey,

Villain is a reg lost my database so don't have much info. What you think about river shove, his line looks a lot like a weak ace he makes a thin v-bet otr. QQ we block as well as AQ which he starts probably betting on the turn. KJ also not anymore in his range. Too thin or not?

I agree that you will have the best hand reasonably often but I expect him to fold his Ax to your shove. It is pretty hard to bluffcatch on this board even after making such a small bet which can induce some bluffs. He can have QQ and rarely AQ/AA so I don't like the shove very much unless you expect him to a) 4bet bluff a lot pre and b) bluffcatch river.

I see no weaker hand to call river, nor stronger hand to fold. By pushing here you represent polarized range, which you obviously do not have. Bet turn to make him fold eventually JJ-KK.

Can you explain your preflop play , please.
As played, you will get called only by better hands when you shove.

Preflop it's a resonable hand to 3-bet and vs. 4bet we have a playable hand in position. Even though a hand like T9ss would do better because people 4bet hands such as KQ and AQ which is not good for us. So folding probably better vs. 4bet w/o info of his range.

River I think villain is strongly repping weak ace and my shove looks like set of queens or 99-KK or T9ss type of hand turned into a bluff so I expect villain to be not folding Ax especcially after he bets so small which makes this a much better valueshove than call imo. Running to aces is unfortunate ppl. usually bet them on turn.

This.

Your raise was ok, but you should have folded when you got popped again.

I think you got it right this time. Our hand is not ok to call a 4 bet, imo.

MP2 34.84% 34.43% 0.41% { QTs }
MP3 65.16% 64.75% 0.41% { QQ+, AKs, A5s-A2s, AKo, KJo+ }

Would not call it a mistake in position

Postflop pot is huge in 4B pot, so there is not enough space to outplay villain.

Against the range I expect villain to 4bet we get straight odds to call so I expect to lose less by flatting than by folding. I know fairly well what to do on various textures on 4bet pots so I don't think the flat is very -EV even though its borderline. At higher stakes is very common to flat small 4bets with even hands like A5s OOP odds are the factor we don't have to win the pot often postflop to LOSE LESS money by flatting the 4-bet than by folding to it.

The river is more interesting than preflop. Against a thinking player who could see us turning hand like T9ss or JJ to bluff against his weak aces we should value jam. Maybe a raise - fold to 9d or something could work better against the population

Fold pre (when you've got raised)

A weak A should never call that river raise. He has no choice but to bluff catch with slowplayed sets and maybe slowplayed AT. It is decidedly -EV versus anyone but the most hysteric "hand reader" seeing big bluffs whenever there is a big bet. It is true that you don't represent much. But he should still fold his aces.
