it looks okay to me tbh...

Although I would only lead out if our opponent is kinda tight... I'm check/raising here if he's more aggressive...

Shove turn maybe?... I think that would be my line here...

I think shoving is okay... could be result orientated here.. but the pot is 550 we have 1k chips left... we're oop with top pair and the board is really draw and he floats us on that flop... Shoving turn still looks okay to me..

im checkraising here too and getting commited with the pot. If he gives a free card y prolly bet the size pot on the turn.

would bet preflop & if he just calls push flop , if he reraises preflop you can still get away from it

flat calling preflop is asking for problems

Hi all,

@curnow: It's a freeplay pot.

@Jesusitonsky: I think he checks behind too often cause it's a very drawheavy board.

@Hlynkinn: I think that's very results orientated... villain ended up just calling the 300 bet and an ugly river came, so therefore we should rewind time and shove turn?

@OP: Hand looks well played, nice one.

Yea really? I was pretty unsure about the bet on the turn, since I dont think he would call me with alot of worse hands on the flop. Check/calling or check/folding turn might have been better for potcontrol.

I have no idea what kind of hands that guy limps with, but I don't really like shoving preflop because he's a donkey with a big stack = little FE.

So I'm up against a pretty random range I assume, might be ahead, might be way behind.. I think the better option would have been potcontroling on turn.

Disagree.

Opponents are generally loose/passive. So how do we play against loose/passive? Bet/bet/bet with the best hand, fold/fold/fold to action when we have the worst! :). Don't assume he's floating, and therefore there is value in a check/raise or a check/call... because way too often he will just check behind with a hand that then a. sucks out on you, or b. you lose value against cause they missed.

freeplay is bad out of position , you want to know where you are & even hitting top pair with good kicker you still dont know where you are and need to find out

the river here is a strange one , why bet so much & why wait to river to bet & both dont add up and would be tempted to call
