My girlfriend wants to start playing online poker to.
If she gets an account here we would be on the same IP.
Obviously it could seem like its me playing the two accounts so thats why i want to know what the rule is on that.

Hello Delftdirk,

There is generally nothing speaking against having multiple people playing from the same IP as long as each of them uses their account individually. That means as long as she uses both her PokerStrategy and her Poker Platform accounts and doesn't receive help from you in e.g. passing the quiz - there is no problem.

You can however expect there to be ID checks.

Thanx for the quick response Soy

Of course there will be an ID check and thats no problem
As far as the quiz i dont think she needs my help, if you put some effort in it i think everyone can pass it and learn from the articles

So she can just sign up tonight and when you guys from strategy poker see we live on same addres you will contact us for ID checks i assume ?

But what about poker rooms?
Don't they have some controls for collusion?

Hello Delftdirk,

Yes she can. The support will contact her if they need an ID check.

@erptech: Yes. They won't be able to play at the same tables from the same IP.

Just to be completly sure she will register for another poker client
I am playing at Titan poker and she will go to either Full Tilt or Pokerstars (i think)
She likes playing tourneys the most so we just have to figure out which client has the best/most low limit tourneys
