I like playing poker, i want to improve my game and to do that i need to understand certain concepts and equity is not one i understand.
i read posts saying " our he has 20% equity" or "thats hand has lots of fold equity"
i'm sorry but i'm like WTF are these guys on about???

All the terms you find unfamiliar explanations can be found in the glossary tab at the top. As well as the pokerterms are usually in red. So just click on the word and a short explanation will come up.
Basically you equity is the long term share of the money in the pot given the situation as it stands.
