BTN wins 3.63 BB

I was reviewing this hand in HRC, but I really don't know whit what will opponent do that. On SB is opponent with 26bb, so I assume that BTN will open shove really strong range. Something like: TT+, AJs+, AQo+. Maybe even tighter?

HRC give him too wide range here in my opinion and that is why I wanna ask you what range will you give to BTN?

I guess it’s not about your own hand, because I would fold Q8o for sure here.

It’s likely the button has a capped range here. That means that he most likely raising hands like QQ+ and pushing with weaker holdings. I expect a unknown will shove with approximately 22-JJ, Ax+, KTo+, K9s+, QTo+, Q9s+, JTo, JTs and maybe even T9s.

There are a ton of hands like SDK listed that are +EV jams with 21bb but at the same time especially in a $1.35 tourney its gonna be far more profitable to minraise.

Yea definitely clear fold here with Q8o. But I was wondering whit what I can call here and was not sure about opponent shoving range.

And definitely I agree that open raise is far better option than open shove, unless SB and BB are aggro and you don't wanna r/f profitable open shoves and hand is too weak for r/c. But the fact is that opponent open shove and I am not sure what range.

Thanks for answers!!

GL at tables and off them!

I agree with that range and agree with a capped range.
VS a range like: JJ-33,AQs-A2s,AQo-A4o,KTs+,KQo (capped QQ+, AK+)
You can call with: 44+,A8s+,A9o+ (i probably fold 44 because the edge is close)
