unknown, no signs of being fish

Looks very strong by him. But he is unknown, so I had a hope that this can be some weaker ace or QQ.
Also I thouth - he cannot have 99, 33 and board is dry, so it does not make sense for him to raise, he just might have random bluff. But I remember also - minraises are not bluffs very often.

Its 3bet pot, I have TPTK. Might bet that its a fold, but feels like bit weak.

Bigger oft, I can't see any way out if mini-raised. I'd be horribly weak to fold it already on the flop, even though there's no many hands you beat.

Easy call, folding would be too weak. CO can have 99 and some players will call with 33 also. It is more profitable for him to call since BB called too.

The thing is BB just cold called preflop. He will not have much Ax. He can have PP more.
Still just call and see turn.

Oh shit, when I first looked at this I thought that CO raised.. But yeah BB definitely has pocket pairs in his range. It is still a call on the flop.

He has all PP. The board is Axx, ideal for cbet and he can min raise " to see where he is". :)
Calling is not a mistake.

Yeah I have to disagree that there's no sign he's a fish because this is kind of a fishy line.

Regardless, it's a call. Some fish will do this with AJ or something.

ok. BUt to believe, I would like to see some real hands where it was bluff in that spot. Because I do not remember :) I could filter my database, but it might be that there is too little hands with showdown and I might not find.

I couldn't filter the exact situation from my 100k hands. I got a few similar heads up pots and in many of them villain did it with draw or pair plus draw. This board is not drawy but still I believe that villain could do this with QQ,KK or weaker Ax too so know where he stands. So called information raise, which is not a very good idea. From villains point of view, I see no reasons to raise other than bluff. If he has a set why would he raise on such a dry flop.

Cause he desperately wants to build the pot but is concerned that a bigger raise will scare us.

Could be that yes.. But still it doesn't change the fact we should call here imo.

you mean HU 3bet pots? where he did not cold call 3bet?

I am not able to find how to set filter on PT4 for that.

I believe this is often true. I have heard from someone - minraise is never a bluff. If they want to bluff, they raise bigger - to not give odds to bluffcatch. And they want to give odds to bluffcatche when they have a hand, that makes sense.

I am a non-believer . I can show you some hands. 3bet spots. Definitely can be a pocket pair. 22, 44-88, JJ .

A sideline:
H plays a fast NL5 table. He sits with 366bb.
IMO this is very risky. Most stategies are full-stack 100-150bb based. So H risks in a clash with another deep stack 200+bb.

I agree. The people will play very different. No info...

Playing that deep is a totally different strategy. Though villains are rarely that deep...

Hello guys,

preflop i would go bigger because u are 200bb deep with him. OTF i bet bigger, i kinda like your sizing for 100bb deep situation but being 200bb deep means that we can value bet bigger for value.

After raise from bb i would be kinda confused because his range is mostlikely something like AJs+,99+ though i usually dont have calling range there at all but nl5 player are gonna call something like i mentioned i guess. So there are no hands that make sense to raise from him because why the hell he would raise set there?

So in those situations i switch into bluffcatching mode and calldown top of my range and AK is definitely top so i calldown.
I wont be suprised to see AQ,AJ or what ever random spew because it is nl5 and people are doing those things.

I do not think its very risky, because I do not believe that there are many NL5 players who are better at playing deep :) And the big fun is to have big pots :)

how much bigger I should do?

how much bigger?
And another thing whihc I am not sure is - we have just top pair top kicker. Do we want to get 200 bbs in with just top pair? Isn't it overplay? Worse hands have to call. If the oponent is bad of course he will call.

But if I had AQ in his shoes lets say - first thing I guess I would not cold call 3bet, but lets say I called 3bet IP with AQ. Am I calling down with AQ for 200 deep? I think he never has bluffs with such big bets, so I guess I would fold at some point.
So vs good thinking opponent I am afraid that by trying to get 200 BB with just top pair, AK in this hand I am donating money to better hands.
So thats why I do not bet bigger on flop, to not create huge pot.

I would like to see :)
