Do they still have good sats that we can convert into cash or is their really only the straight points to cash conversion ??

As I have understood, the sats are scheduled only 5 minutes prior their respective tournaments. Of course, you could play a satellite, win the entry, and play the rest of the satellites to the same tournament and have the entry ticket refunded in T$.
That would be the case with any sane and tactful poker room. Anything run by A**** does not fit under that category, however.
