I was at the final table of a 3.30 rebuy/add-on tournament. Play was 8 handed, a player who was relatively active stealing/re-stealing the blinds and antes shoves. I called because I was just so short and the player who shoved only had 10 big blinds if you factor in the antes. PFR was 18 over 169 hands leading up to this point, that is all the hands I had on the player.
So my questions are: Do you think he rarely does this with hands I have dominated and; is calling here a mistake? Should I have waited for a spot where I could have open shoved?
