I feel your squeeze is too big, but that's neither here nor there.

Floating and being floated in 3bet pots is always a difficult spot. In this case his contuing range vs the huge squeeze and cbet is generally fairly narrow and includes alot of trap play.

I can't see any reason to continue our bluff on the turn and don't believe you have any options left but to x-f. I dont see villain folding much of his remaining range at this point even to a shove or check-shove.

19 9 1.2 after 234 hands, considering his low aggression i guess it was a good fold

You were so getting slowrolled by an overpair here ;)

Often against such nits you can push them out of pots, as played, but with a nice "big middle" pair like 99 I'd smooth call for set value. You might even "let" one of the middle guys catch a smaller set and end up with a fantastic situation of set over set over overpair.

Me too prefer calling preflop. As played I am not calling.

Cbet is ok. Villain places a smallish turn bet on a superdry board, probably Hero is against a suited Q combo, not enough showdown value to call turn. Well played, I guess.

+1 I'd prefer a hand that has more playability to squeeze with rather than a pair.

Yes. A squeeze is a bluff and our plan is to generate folds. We are after the dead money of the callers. If we get calledit is better to hold a blocking hand like Ax Kx or some suited broadways for playability. 99 here is difficult to play.

I'd never squeeze with 99 in this spot. Calling pre is better I guess.

Agree w some lines presente here. Like Jaissica and scopinad mentioned, we have many best hands to do this kind of play out there. Doing this w 99 is like taking a hammer to paint a wall. Its not the best approach for the potential that this hand has.
