Preflop that deep you can call all PP.
When you do not hit your set it is not ok to put more money in the pot.

Preflop, its alright. We are deep so we can get a good reward when hitting our set.
Posflop, I think we have many better hands (like suited connectors) to go for a loose play in this board. Like u described, just started to spew around.
Did u had info on this villain?

So, even more, this play was not appropriated.
With no info to this line stand on... I dont advocate it at all.

Even if you have info our hand is a fold here as every card, except our 2 outs, can make a better pair+ here.

If we have info, we dont just play our hand. So we can find different lines regardless of what we are holding.

I think it was pretty good poker play. So good, in fact, that it is inappropriate at NL2. But villain had 400bb+ in his stack, and presumably was good enough to lay down even AA here, and also good enough to realize that no way in hell is a player at NL2 doing this with air against him.

WP, but the next one will call thinking his AA is the nuts. You got a bit lucky.

Haha, well put.

I don't think 22 is the hand to do it with, but I do think that bluff-raising rivers is an underused tool against the right opponents.

Yes, absolutely. They'll often think "they always have the nuts here". Haha=)

What were you thinking here? :f_biggrin:

You should fold on the flop when you don't hit.. It is nice that this worked for you this time. Everytime I try something similar villain calls me with 55 and I lose.

Like MJ and Yohan said, this river shove is a nice and powerful weapon. But I dont think it ll work often vs NL2 players to become a profitable line to take.
Vs well selected oponents, yes. Vs unknown, no way.

Thats not the info that I want. Instead, how often villain went to showdown, folds vs aggression on every street and such.

I think in this particular hand we don't need any info of villain. This was fucked up since the flop. It is very rare, and very stupid to think, that villain at NL2 will 3 barrel and then fold to a raise?

OK, WTSD 29, Flop CB 58, Turn CB 50, Flop vs Raise Fold35, Turn vs Raise Fold25.

Now what?

Totally. I would just do that with the right info on villain. As default, its an easy fold otf.

Now the info u bring me doesnt show any accentuated deviation for me to try a fancy move in this hand.
