Is this a terrible cbet OTF? Normally I wouldn't do it on a board like that, especially OOP against 2 opponents. I think CO is folding most of the time since he opened pre so that board probably missed him. I also have backdoor flush and overs.

Is it ok to cbet in this situation?

First Q is whether it is okay to squeeze an already isolation raised pot with a caller. I'd never do that myself, but don't blame people for doing it if they like playing OOP in big pots.

Flop: Preflop mission failed - few folds and a board that doesn't hit your range at all. Just give up instead of looking for excuses to go on and lose more money here.

You may be right that the flop missed CO , but do bear in mind that the limp/caller UTG got it right in the middle.
If normally you do not do this you should have a solid reason to deviate from your game.
I am not cbetting this flop.

I would call behind pre. The flop didn't hit us and our cbet probably won't generate much folds + it might hit the limp caller. I would not cbet.

I like the 3bet. The CO can be exploiting the caller wide and we gain iniciative this way.
Although I would not cbet this flop, I would call if someone bets.

CO is not exploiting wide caller very good because he opens just standard 3bb and there is no reason to play with wide range against wide range. CO isolates and BTN calls, if we 3bet we probably end up playing multiway in a 3bet pot. Is that something we want to do with ATs?

I'm curious why you wouldn't do this?

Agree 100%, this is a terrible flop to continue with our perceived and actual range.

Three players in means that the chance of taking it down right away is about zero. That means we are to play an ace with no kicker out of position in a 3-bet pot. Hitting anything except something including a flush draw is a mixed blessing. It is just my poker personality. I'd much rather do it in position with 5♥:6♥:.

Sure, can't fault that.

And what about OOP?

Make sense. Very few flops we ll really like to see. And oop we cant take as much value as ip... Maybe I was a bit excited first time a saw hero's play, and in fact its not that an optimal line to do.

I think OOP versus 3 the range for 3-bet should be close to 100% value (and then some to compensate for poor position). I am not good enough preflop to say where the line goes here, maybe AQs?
