6max ZOOM - Value bet (?) on river and calling raise with mid-pair

Without reads, I'm folding. While he has a lot of hands that could be river bluffs, I would expect a bluff to raise a little bigger and he can very conceivably have Jx here.

I think your river value bet is totally fine, though. Checking back turn and betting most rivers is a decent line in my book, though I don't mind betting turn and checking back river. That might be better actually.

Like I noted in the previous hand, pot odds are not really the first thing to consider when catching bluffs. It is the opponents total cost for a possible bluff. It is much higher when raising or check-raising. This is a very clear fold.

I agree with MJPerry. River raises are often for value. Folding is fine.

I prefer to bet turn and x river.
As played we should fold.

You could accomodate there small bet ott, not obligatory tho.

When there is some sort of draws on the board and my hand is not strong enough for 3 streets, I like betting flop and turn, them checking back river. U charge draws and get the right amount of value for ur hand.
