Just wondering how to get more value out of these spots? Some tricks?

Maybe a little loose open from UTG.

You can check OTT because you do not have to protect your hand and hope villain tries to stab and if he doesn't we just hope he hits OTR and calls our small value bet. Double barreling this turn gets a lot of folds. Still you played this hand ok and it is a sad reality that if villain doesn't have a hand, we won't get any more value in this kind of boards.

Some players open all Axs in the place of SCs.
No checking here. It is NL5 and we bet/bet/bet.
The forum is full of "tricky" players that x turnand when the board pairs, do not know what to do on river...
Bet.

Bet Bet Bet.

Playing your big hands fast every time is the route to maximum value over the long term in the lower brackets. As Nitrol rightly says, checking here will get you into trouble spots if the board pairs; also, no one has noted yet that by checking you lose value from Ks Qs Js Ts. Heck its NL5. By checking you lose value against a whole array of NL5 villains who will draw on the turn with any spade.

Even if you hold AA and the board comes out something ridiculous like AA5, I'd bet-bet-bet vs many villains. You'll never understand why some of them can call three streets with 45 there, but it's all profit.

Agree. This time villain didn't have a hand but next time he will find his reason to call you.
Being tricky and losing value go hand in hand. Keep betting your way to the higher limits. :)

I have an example from today's session why you should just bet bet bet, even with the nuts.

You never know what people might pay you with... or overplay.

I try to run about 18 vpip 18 rfi 7 3b on full ring. Slightly loose to exploit the nits and rocks on 10zoom.

I dont think this hand is an image thing... i just think the villain didnt know that such a raise isolates him against hands he loses to... turning trips with an ace kicker into a stone cold bluff :)

Thats true... This hand seems to be an outcome of a poor thinking.
