I wouldnt, he is often calling with a pair and a medium-to-high spade that he is not folding.

If it's a pair then he's folding, and I think he calls with a pair more often than with a spade.

i wouldn't either. he just called on the flop . he didn't donkbet and didn't raise. maybe he decided he will give up if a spade comes but this kind of opponent most often will try to protect his hand if he has one.

if you think he calls with a pair more often than with a spade then nh. keep trying this sequence to see if that's the case indeed .

Versus a loose fearless fish who calls your flop bet w/most pairs/FD's then cbetting alone will not be worthwhile on this flop. You have to follow up on a later street(s) (or suckout) with a further barrel or two. When the fourth :spade: comes on the turn you have to give up versus this opponent though (because even though your flop-bet was likely called by one pair hands this fishes range is just too strong still with the A on the board AND the 4 spades).

Versus the loosest and worse opponents not cbetting this flop is OK since although you may loose some small Ev+ you stay away from too much variance/ feeling like a dickhead for firing multiple barrels at fish with no real equity in the hand.

Once he calls on the flop you should better give up.
Players don´t mostly call with low flushdraws on that board.

What about a pair-two pair type of hands?
